About Lavender Patchouli Hair Conditioner
“Almond, Indian Gooseberry and Soya bean extracts blended with Pure Essential Oils of Lavender and Patchouli to create a luxurious conditioner that revitalizes and retextures damaged hair.”
I have been using this duo for last 4 weeks (twice a week) and here is what I have experienced.
Kama Ayurveda Lavender Patchouli Hair Cleanser is a clear shampoo with strong scent of lavender. It cleanses out oil and dirt easily , with minimum product, however I have found it a bit drying (I have dry hair fyi) and I need a strong conditioner or hair mask after using this cleanser.
Kama Ayurveda Lavender Patchouli Hair Conditioner has a white gel texture, it spreads easily but doesn’t provide enough moisture/ softness. I find it doing nothing and have to apply a serum to tame my hair.
I used to think that Kama Ayurveda Hair products are free from paraben, but both of them have paraben, that was kind of a deal breaker for me. Also the strong scent of Lavender wasn’t very calming.
I have observed that if I use more than required quantity of Cleanser, it rips off moisture from my hair and I immediately feel need of using a hair mask ! Kama Ayurveda Lavender Patchouli Hair Cleanser does remove oil and dirt effectively but I feel it too harsh on my dry hair.
Kama Ayurveda Lavender Patchouli Hair Conditioner isn’t very effective for my dry hair and like I mentioned above I have to use a hair serum to keep my hair manageable throughout the day. I haven’t noticed any reduction in hairfall or change in hair texture after using this combo.
This particular combo/duo didn’t work out for my dry hair. I haven’t observed any change in texture. Cleanser does well in cleaning scalp and removing dirt but conditioner just fails to provide enough moisture to my hair. Kama Ayurveda Lavender Patchouli Hair Cleanser and conditioner might work on oily hair but on dry hair the conditioner doesn’t work at all. Also these contain paraben. I wouldn’t purchase them.
