Kama Ayurveda Lavanya Natural Plant Mask Review Photos Price

I was looking for products with natural ingredients and my eyes caught this Kama Ayurveda Lavanya Natural Plant Mask. I had heard good things about this mask so thought of trying it out. I have used this mask several times and will share my thoughts with you.

Product description:

As prescribed in Ayurveda this product is meant to nourish, deep cleanse and purify skin. It leaves the skin glowing and refreshed. It is also prescribed in Ayurveda as a treatment for acne and blemishes. A blend of herbs traditionally used for skin care.

In Ayurveda, sweet flag and liquorices keep skin young and have anti-microbial properties. Lodhra, a blood purifier, cleanses the micronutrient channels of the skin. It also contains coriander, a skin cleanser.

Packaging:Kama Ayurveda Lavanya Natural Plant Mask comes in a pouch which is inside a steel tin along with a tiny wooden spoon. I’m glad that the brand has such a packaging and provides a spoon since I can scoop out only the required amount of product. The tin is of good quality steel, so I don’t think there are any chances of rusting. Also, it is medium in size so in case you wish to travel with it, you can.

Consistency: The Mask comes in the form of powder and has to be mixed with water. However, I take 2 full scoops of the powder and mix it well with rose water from the same brand. I love using the pure rose water from this brand and use it to make several DIY masks as well.

Once I apply it on my face, it feels grainy since there are some ingredients in the powder that do not dissolve in the rose water. So, once it gets dried, I gently massage my face so that the dead skin cells get removed as well. It makes for a good exfoliator too.

Colour and fragrance: This powder is yellowish green in colour and once you mix it with water, it turns slightly olive green. And it smells of herbs, not that much but it’s an extremely mild ayurvedic fragrance. You cant smell the powder as such, but when you apply it on your face you can smell the fragrance.

Quantity and price: You get 25gm of the product for ₹575 and I think it is worth the money. Since only a small quantity is needed, it will last me for a couple of months. It is worth giving a try since it is priced almost the same as the other masks available in the market.

My overall thoughts:

I could notice that my acne started to heal the very first time I applied Kama Ayurveda Lavanya Natural Plant Mask and now I’m looking forward to getting rid of the spots that are left behind. I like how I can scrub my face as well once the mask dries down so that it gets rid of the impurities and dead skin cells.

Also, the smell is not much overpowering, so I don’t mind using it. I have liked most of the products from the brand and I like using this one too. if you have oily or acne prone skin you can give it a try. It doesn’t dry out my skin and makes my skin feel soft and glowing after I wash it off.
