Kama Ayurveda Flagship Store Opening Event

Authentic Ayurveda brand, Kama Ayurveda, opened its first store in New Delhi. Located in the upscale Khan Market, the flagship store stocks an exhaustive range of the company’s authentic Ayurvedic, organic and natural products including the iconic bestsellers – Kumkumadi Miraculous Beauty Fluid and Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment. The company has introduced over 30 new products to mark the launch of the store, including the Kumkumadi Brightening Ayurvedic Face Scrub, Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream, six Ayurvedic handmade soaps and a range of men’s grooming products.

Conceptualized in-house by the promoting partners – Dave Chang and Vivek Sahni, the trendsetting store is inspired by the sophistication and glamour of early 20^th century Indian interiors. Designed and furnished in collaboration with the award winning consultant – Lotus Design, the calm and well appointed store space presents a definitive environment for Ayurveda in the 21st century – extending the vintage charm of Kama Ayurveda’s products and packaging to the store design.

Architecturally, the high façade and ceilings, period detailing and checker board marble flooring along with the classic lines of the warm teak and rattan cabinetry evoke a sense of luxury and continuity with the past. On the other hand the contemporary finial topped brass shelving, exposed lighting and ducting, and ivory painted brick walls underscore Kama Ayurveda’s place in the present and future.

Speaking about Kama Ayurveda’s 1^st exclusive store, Vivek Sahni said, “Elegant and stylish, this store is the perfect backdrop for the pure and natural Kama Ayurveda range of beauty and wellbeing products.”

Kama Ayurveda was started in 2002 by four individuals – Dave Chang, Rajshree Pathy, Vikram Goyal and Vivek Sahni – who believed in the virtues of a holistic life and came together to universally promote the message of authentic Ayurveda. The company partnered an authentic Ayurvedic institution, the highly regarded Arya Vaidya Pharmacy in Coimbatore, a non-profit trust with Ayurvedic hospitals and clinics all over the country.

I absolutely loved the ambiance, that aroma and feel, which spoke of Ayurveda ..

Kama Ayurveda was conferred with the “Best New Product” award at the Extracts Trade Show in New York in 2008. All products by Kama Ayurveda are created from organically grown, herbal ingredients with no added chemicals, artificial colors or fragrance.

The best part of my today’s visit was meeting Dr. Avilochan Singh, the Consulting Ayurvedic Doctor with the brand. He was available at the store for personalized consultation and addressed all my skin & hair concerns patiently. Upon his recommendation I bought Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating & Brightening Ayurvedic Night Cream.. 

Entire staff was very helpful and I was delighted to meet everyone. Dr. Avilochan Singh is available in the store for consultation Wednesday to Friday.

A token on Love from KAMA <3 .. I was as it is drooling over Bringadi Hair Oil as Dr Singh had specifically mentioned it while addressing my “Dry Hair” issue.. When I spotted it in bag, I was over-joyed 🙂
