During one of my trips to Kama Ayurveda Store at Khan Market Delhi, I got a chance to meet Dr. Avilochan Singh, the Consulting Ayurvedic Doctor with the brand. After listening to my hair concerns peacefully he suggested me Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment.

My Experience:

I used this product twice a week for almost 4 weeks. I used to massage it to my scalp and leave it on for an hour before washing. The best part is that you wouldn’t need too much of oil, less is more. After washing my hair feel softer and luscious. After using it for 2 weeks I noticed that hair fall reduced considerably.

The texture is non-sticky. It has strong herbal smell which can bother sensitive noses a bit, my husband can’t stand it..

A cheaper alternative to it can be Biotique Bio Bringraj Hair Oil

What I liked :

1. Light weight oil which is non-sticky.
2. Makes hair lustrous, soft and stops hair fall to some extent.
3. Washes off easily.

What can be improved

1. Price. Rs 450 for 100 ml is bit high priced.
2. Availability. Can only be purchased through Kama Store or Through selected stores (Good Earth, L’ Affair Designs, The Oberoi Hotel & Resorts – Spa, The Box, The Shop,  Apartment 9, Ammy Imperial Book Store, Religare Wellness, Asian Roots.)

Overall Thoughts

If you are looking for an ayurvedic option to make your hair smoother, softer, shiner and that can combat hair fall, go for KAMA Ayurveda Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment. Price can be an issue but it will last you at least 2 months. I am definitely going to re purchase it.
