I am sure most of you know my obsession with skincare products. I love trying out new brands and we all love a good ayurvedic , chemical free personal care range which covers face, body & Hair. I recently got a chance to try out couple of products from Kairali, a brand that needs no introduction. I tested them out for good 2 months and thought of sharing my experience with you all today . I am reviewing Kairali Ayurvedic Kaircin, Kairbal & Kairpack –
Now first this first the packaging looks luxurious ! Gold & White print on cardboard boxes is beautiful + the jars and bottle inside is also good. I was quite happy to see an ayurvedic brand taking care of aesthetics as well.
Benefits
- Prevents pimples, pigmen- tation scars & wrinkles
- Contains anti-aging properties
- Removes stretch marks & dark circles
- Nourishes and tones the face & skin
Lets talk about the Kaircin Ayurvedic Facial Oil first. My skin is very dry and lacks glow. I have to use a facial oil to keep prevent it from looking too dull ! I have been using Kaircin Ayurvedic Facial Oil for a little over 2 weeks now and can definitely see a subtle glow. I couldn’t use it earlier because the weather here in delhi was very humid & hot and my skin breakout if I apply heavy oils or creams doing that season.
I apply Kaircin Ayurvedic Facial Oil during night , mixing 2 drops of it in my moisturiser, as the last step of my skincare. You should always apply oils last so that the rest of the skincare can penetrate into the skin and oil seals everything in. The oil has a herbal smell, if you have tried Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Oil then this scent wouldn’t feel different to you.
Talking of Kumkumadi, which is a key ingredient in Kaircin Ayurvedic Facial Oil , is known for skin brightening properties. If you have uneven skin tone then this ingredient would be beneficial. It also works on blemishes. I will wait for another 2 weeks to share my final verdict but so far I am loving the glow ! It claims to work on dark circles as well.
Ideally you should apply 5 drops of this oil on your face in the night time for 30 minutes and then wash off. It works fine for me both ways.
Next up is Kairpack Ayurvedic Face Pack, which is made of a blend of herbs & lentil powder. You have to use it like the traditional ubtan, mixing it with rose water, apply till it dries and wash off with cold water. It is supposed to add radiance to your face. However whenever I apply this pack my face feels hot, not uncomfortable but warm after I rinse it off. Not sure whether the ingredients are working for me, or i am supposed to feel this way !
To avoid any further skin irritation I didnt use it after 2 uses. First time I mixed it with rose water then once with regular water. But both the times it made my face warm ! No redness though.
Last one is Kairbal Ayurvedic Body Cleanser. I remember using ubtan made of chickpea flour during my teen years. I loved how my skin felt soft & radiant. I relived the time with this body cleanser.
I mix three-four tablespoons of powder with water and use it like a regular body wash, massaging all over the body and then rinsing off with water. It removes dead skin and makes it smoother & softer. I use Kairbal Ayurvedic Body Cleanser once a week.
