Just Herbs Silksplash Neem-Orange & Lively Clean Face Wash Review

There are some products that got so much raved by everyone around you that you get sucked into buying it, whether you need them or not. Same thing happened with me recently and I bought both Just Herbs Silksplash Neem-Orange & Lively Clean Exfoliating Face Wash .

My skin is dry and cold weather has made it even more drier, with occasional appearance of dry patches around nose and mouth. I was using Vichy Normaderm Facial Cleanser but it isn’t meant for dry skin and I used it just because my skin is combination and break out prone. With the change in weather I had to switch to a gentle cleanser.

Just Herbs Silksplash Neem-Orange Rehydrant Face Wash Review

This one is a gentle face wash perfect for dry skin. It lathers up softly and cleans the skin without making it dry. I generally wash my face twice a day and this face cleanser doesn’t rip off the moisture. I also like its mild saffron scent, which reminds me of Forest Essentials Neem & Saffron Face Wash which is one of my all time favorite brand when it comes to face cleansers but due to the high price I skipped it.

Packaging is also convenient, a pump that dispenses a small amount of gel each time, for me its way to less and I need atleast 3-4 pumps of Just Herbs Silksplash Neem-Orange face wash. Also this cleaner doesn’t remove makeup or traces of it so if you have just used a makeup remover and looking for a cleanser to remove oil/makeup residue, then switch to an effective one.

I wouldn’t repurchase it , its a good face wash but way too gentle for my liking. I will keep using it this winters though.

Just Herbs Livelyclean Honey Exfoliating Face Cleansing Gel Review

I picked this exfoliating face wash even when I am not into these formulas. This one lathers up way better than silk splash, however due to the scrub particles I can’t use it around eyes or more than thrice a week. I like the scent and the gentleness of the cleanser however it somehow doesn’t fall under my favorite cleansers.

The pump on this bottle works way better and dispenses quite a good amount of product each time. It also doesn’t make skin dry or stretchy.

Overall Thoughts

I like Just Herbs Silksplash Neem-Orange Rehydrant Face Wash for this time of the year when there is chill in the air and skin is acting all crazy dry. Its gentle and keeps skin supple even post wash. However I have to use another cleanser when it comes to getting rid of non-waterproof makeup or makeup residue. Its too gentle to work on it.
