Do you like mini home facial kits? Well, I love them. Because see in my condition my skin needs a bit of pampering every now and then. So instead going to a salon facial every month why don’t we go for mini facials. You can use them multiple times and you are doing it in the comfort of your home. Perfect for a lazy bum like me. I have mostly tried VLCC facial kit. They have awesome range and variety in terms of facial kits. You get one for every skin concern and skin type too. But it has been long that I have tried any other brand in terms of facial kits. So, this time I decided to try Jovees 24K Gold Value Mini Facial Kit . I have used some products from jovees and I liked them so why not try them.

Packaging : This Jovees 24K Gold Value Mini Facial Kit comes in carton box packaging. I bought the mini kit but I think it is enough for 4-5 times usage. It is a bit bulky and heavy so not good to travel with. The packaging contains detailed instructions and product details. Inside which there are 5 small jars which contains different products.

Texture : As I said earlier the facial kit contains 5 products –

1. 24K Gold Cleansing cream – This is a simple cleansing creams which preps your skin for the facial session ahead. It is extremely moisturising and for dry skinned people like me my skin drank it all. But oily skin people can find it a bit sticky.
2. 24K Gold Facial Scrub – This one is a transparent colour scrub with mild yellow granules in it. This granule when rubbed against skin feels very soft.
3. 24K Gold Massage Gel – Gold Massage gel is transparent and very smooth on skin. It is light weight and imparts a cooling sensation.
4. 24K Gold face Pack – This is the major part of the facial. It is cream based and it is a thick cream. So, make sure you use only a little amount. You can dilute it with water if you want.
5. 24K gold Moisturiser – This is again cream based. And as per the name suggests it is a thick cream. And it takes some time to get absorbed into the skin.

My Views :

Now, let’s talk about the performance part of Jovees 24K Gold Value Mini Facial Kit. Well, my 4 girl friends tried it and we all have different skin types. We have all ranging from dry skin, oily skin, combination and sensitive skin. so, this facial kit was a true test of how it performed against different skin types.

Firstly, this is an extremely oily facial kit. Every ingredient of this facial kit is very sticky. so, oily skin girls are going to hate it. They will much more oily and sticky after completion of this facial kit. Same with combination skin too. For my dry skin I felt a bit fine at the beginning, but by the end my skin also appeared a bit sticky and greasy. And on the top of that there was no visible difference. I didn’t feel that my fresh tan got reduced. My friends who has mild pigmentation issues also complained that it is same as before.

Overall Thoughts

Jovees 24K Gold Value Mini Facial Kitis a complete waste of money. It did nothing for different skin types even. And after this I have a question mark on all the products especially the facial kits from the house of Jovees. Yes, girls I am that disappointed.
