Iraya Ginseng & Green Tea Face Masque Review

Iraya Ginseng and Green Tea Face Masque (Rs.450 for 100 gm) Iraya Ginseng & Green Tea Face Masque Treats the oily & problem skin & fights impurities,help in improving the skin condition (scars, breakouts, minor marks) & make the skin supple.

I don’t have oily skin but it has some marks caused by acne/ breakouts. I am pretty impressed with the benefits of green tea on skin and was pretty excited to try Iraya Ginseng & Green Tea Face Masque. As you can see in the pictures above Iraya Ginseng & Green Tea Face Masque comes in a thick glass jar with a silver screw cap.

The Product

Iraya Ginseng & Green Tea Face Masque feels almost like a thick moisturizing cream and has a strong herbal scent. I apply it after cleansing and exfoliating my skin, twice a week. little goes a long way and half a teaspoon is more than enough for my entire face. I keep it on for 20 minutes and wash it away using lukewarm water. Like any other herbal mask Iraya Ginseng & Green Tea Face Masque stings initially but the stinging sensation subsides after 2-3 miutes.

My Experience

I have dry skin so can’t really comment as to how well it works on oil control, but yes I have been using it for sometime now and have definitely seen reduction in breakouts. I generally breakout around that time of month but after using Iraya Ginseng & Green Tea Face Masque I haven’t broken out, except for one or two white heads I can’t really see any skin problem and that is commendable ! However I can’t really see much difference in scar & marks, they haven’t faded.

Since I need only a small amount this 50g jar will last me 2 months minimum even if used twice every week.

Overall Thoughts

Iraya Ginseng & Green Tea Face Masque definitely works on problem skin by reducing or controlling break outs. I have dry skin so can’t say how well it works on oily skin but it doesn’t make my skin dry or flaky whatsoever. The mask, like any other ayurvedic mask, stings initially. I like the fact that Iraya Ginseng & Green Tea Face Masque is made of herbal ingredients and doesn’t have any harmful ingredients. However I haven’t seen it doing much for my acne scarring, but still I will continue using it for another month and update if i see improvement.
