Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Review – Rice, Seaweed, Aloe, Pomegranate, Green Tea, Canola Honey

I am a skincare junkie and keep on hoarding skincare stuff. I have more masks then I would ever need but I love using masks on alternate days. Using right face mask can make a huge difference to your skin and I strongly believe in it. Since my skin is dry and needs all the moisture it could take, I am loving sheet masks and thought of stepping up my game and try out Innisfree Capsule Recipe Packs. I went to the store last week and picked 6 of them.

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Review - Rice, Seaweed, Aloe, Pomegranate, Green Tea, Canola Honey

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Packs come in cute small tubs, which contain products good for 2 uses. I have tried Innisfree Canola Honey Sleeping pack long back and liked how it made my skin when left overnight. These are mini-sleeping-packs.

I have already tried 5 of these , but never slept with mask on. I can’t stand the stickiness , so prefer using these during the day when I am working or resting. Keeping them on for 2-3 hours serves the purpose for me. The texture of these masks is jelly like, a bit gloopy.

Now the variants I picked serve different purposes. Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Rice is meant for brightening up the skin, but even after keeping it on for more than 3 hours I couldn’t see anything. It did nothing for me ! I wasn’t looking for a miraculous difference but a little brightness would have made me happy. Don’t tell me that a mask can’t work in one time use, Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask does from day 1.

Canola Honey is very moisturising ! Perfect for dry / very dry skin. I apply it evenly on my face and leave on for as long as I could bear the stickiness. My skin feels soft & nourished after each use. It works for me all the time. Only downside is the sticky texture, which we can’t avoid since the canola honey is as sticky as a regular honey.

Green Tea mask I like the most. It hydrates and revives the dull skin. I have used it just once and can’t wait to get another pack. Innisfree Green tea range has always worked for me.

Pomegranate Capsule Recipe Pack looks almost like mixed fruit jam. Jelly like and translucent. This mask is for firming, but I couldn’t feel any firming action in my skin after using it. Maybe I have to use it more than once to see the difference.

Aloe variant is for soothing, and I love it to bits. I love aloe vera gel in general and have been using The Face Shop Jeju Aloe Mask for more than 3 months now. The mask is soothing and works amazingly. My skin feels moisturised and smooth after each use.

Seaweed one is for brightening. It looks like actual seaweed blended and turned into a sticky gloopy paste. It also feels a little warm , almost like a warming mask. I liked the formula and the after effects. Generally warm masks are meant to draw out impurities.

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Rice, Seaweed, Aloe, Pomegranate, Green Tea, Canola Honey is priced at Rs 150

Overall Thoughts

These Innisfree Capsule Recipe Packs were a hit and miss for me. I might not repurchase them and stick to sheet masks for the time being.

The quantity looks really good for that price. I always feel that the product on Innisfree sheet masks is a lot more than what my skin could absorb. Will give recipe pack a shot.
