I was looking for a coral peach lipstick online in the budget range while I stumbled upon the shade 73 from Inglot. I rushed to the store to see this shade and what other colours they have. Then I found 38! I was mesmerized by the shade; it just took my breath away. I forgot what I was there for and couldn’t stop staring at this one! Packaging- Inglot Freedom System Refill Lipstick 73, 38 are housed in a square pan contrary to the circular pans they used to come in. Also they changed the outer click-lock plastic packaging to a peel-off packaging that has led to the inconvenience of storing the pans.

Shade- 73 is a beautiful coral shade that is a very fresh option for the summers. It is a break from regular pink and orange lipstick but can instantly perk up your face. It is not too subtle but not on your face either. On a lazy day I love lining my eyes thinly with a black liner and wear 73 for an instant lift in appearance.

38 is an electric coral red with pink undertones. This colour has the peculiar characteristic of adapting to ones natural lip colour and forming a unique colour on everyone. On my lips it is a beautiful pinkish red that is perfect for festivals.

Texture & Formula– These are very creamy and smooth. However these dry out my lips, forget about moisturizing. An irritable scent lingers on from the lip cream and does not go away even after hours of wear. These did not bleed but transfer and do not survive meals.

Pigmentation & Finish– They have high pigmentation and have to be applied very carefully. A brush is needed for application and thus precision is required. These are cream finish lipstick which does not look too glossy. These can also be applied as a stain or worn blotted with a tissue paper. They fade evenly leaving tints behind on the lips but my lips start to flake out of dryness. I usually apply a clear balm at this stage.

Staying Power– Inglot Freedom System Refill Lipstick 73, 38 have good staying power and stay on my lips for about 5 hours without meals in between. The darker colour stays a bit longer and stains my lips lightly.

Overall Thoughts

Inglot Freedom System Refill Lipstick 73, 38 are very pretty and are quite unique too. They have zillions of colours to choose from so there is a shade for everyone out there! However for the price, the quality could have been better. I usually wear a crème lipstick on those days when I have unpolished lips in order to camouflage any dry flakes on them. These seem to embarrass me more on my bad lips days. It is best worn on polished and exfoliated lips.
