Inglot is a brand that made me fall in love with makeup when I was in Mumbai. The love still continues and I am lucky enough to have friends in every city who take the pain to ship them to me as I have no Inglot store in my city. I had heard a lot about their AMC range and I picked Inglot AMC Pressed Powder.
About Inglot AMC Pressed Powder
A sheer pressed powder with intense colour payoff thanks to the treated pigments, mica, and an excellent talc-free formula. The addition of hydrophobic compounds ensures it is longwearing and unaffected by perspiration or other moisture.
Packaging – It comes in a classy black shiny compact case with a mirror inside. It has no puff or sponge provided which is a bummer. We would any day love a sponge or a puff inside the case.
Shade – I picked up a dark shade 67 so that I can use it for contouring. I am new to contouring and have been trying out quite a few products from different brands. 63 is a dark brown shade that works well if you are MAC NC44 and above. Finding contouring powders for dusky skin is a tough task as most of them do not show up on them so I safely picked this online.
Texture and Formula – The powder has a very soft, finely milled texture. It goes on smooth and silky.
Pigmentation – Inglot AMC Pressed Powder is very pigmented and you have to be careful about how much you take. If you are using it for contouring, I would say use it with a very light hand as your brush can pick up a lot of the product. Blending it is very difficult in terms of contouring and it gives brown patches and lines here and there. I realized that I made a big mistake, though I did see online reviews of some bloggers who use the same for contouring. It just did not work for me.
Staying Power – After a lot of struggles in blending it, I must say that is has a commendable staying power. It stays put for 4-5 hours even when used for contouring. I don’t think any contour powder stays that long. I plan to purchase the same compact in my skin shade and would come up with a review of that as well.
Inglot AMC Pressed Powder is priced at Rs. 1750. They have hiked the rates for every product now.
Overall Thoughts
As a contour powder, Inglot AMC Pressed Powder is an epic fail. Please do not waste your money. Instead get an actual contour powder that suits your skin.

I used to trust Inglot with their quality and affordability, but the god damn price hike is so unwanted.
