Inglot AMC Matte Lip Pencil Crayon 22 (Rs 850) available at Nykaa
I am in a matte phase, collecting everything & anything which is matte. I have stocked up on Retro Mattes from MAC , Lakme Absolute Lip Tints and now Inglot Matte Lipsticks. I have recently added another shade to my collection of Inglot AMC Matte Lip Pencil Crayon. You can check out Inglot AMC Matte Lip Pencil No 21 & 34 that have been reviewed on the blog before.
Shade – Inglot AMC Matte Lip Pencil Crayon 22 is a muted berry pink shade. Its dark enough to go perfectly with medium to deeper skintones. I love it for everyday wear, its subtle yet pretty. 
Texture & Formula – These lip crayons have a matte formula, but that doesn’t make them waxy or hard to work with. I generally apply them on non-moisturized lips so that the color can stick on to the lips for a longer time. However if you are not comfortable , a lip balm underneath can fix the issue. Also you can apply a clear gloss on the top. The formula doesn’t settle into lip lines and stays put for a long time. Lips start feeling dry towards the end of the day, a light application of lip balm on the top can tackle the problem.
Pigmentation – Inglot AMC Matte Lip Pencil Crayon 22 is very pigmented. You wouldn’t require multiple swipes. Color is opaque enough to cover pigmentation or discoloration on the lips.
Staying Power – On me these lip pencils/ crayons stay for good 7+ hours with a little fading from the centre of the lips.
Overall Thoughts
If you are looking for a good everyday matte lipstick, do give Inglot AMC Matte Lip Pencil Crayon 22 a shot. The pencil applies the product precisely and can double up as a lip liner. Formula is matte and long wearing. If you have dry chapped lips, apply a light layer of lip balm before applying it.
