I always liked how Illamasqua products look and their packaging too. I have this blush duo for almost 4 months but never got around to reviewing it. Illamasqua Powder Blusher Duo comes in a big black compact with a mirror. It doesn’t have any brush or applicator. The duo features two beautiful shades – Lover & Hussy. The compact is quite huge I must admit.

Shades – Illamasqua Powder Blusher Duo Lover & Hussy are two beautiful everyday colors. Lover is an apricot shade and hussy is a candy pink blush. Both the shades would look good on fair to medium skintones however on darker complexions none of the shades would show up, unless layered multiple times. On me I need intense layering for them to show up, however I am quite happy that both the shades are quite beautiful and perfect for everyday.

Texture & Formula – Texture of both the blushes is soft & creamy, however their is noticeable fall out in the pan everytime I swirl my brush in it, which is my main concern. Both the shades are easy to apply and blend, and due to their matte texture, look so natural that I love wearing it almost all the time. I doubted if the colors would show up on me or not, but both the shades look pretty natural on me. 

Pigmentation – Illamasqua Powder Blusher Duo Lover & Hussy are quite pigmented. You wouldn’t need too much product and one sweep is enough to deposit color on your cheeks.

Staying Power – On me both the shades stay on for good 5-6 hours and fade away completely, without turning patchy. Though I am honestly not thrilled about its staying power.

Overall Thoughts

Illamasqua Powder Blusher Duo Lover & Hussy is a beautiful combo for everyday wear. The compact itself is gorgeous and comes with a full size mirror. If you have fair to medium complexion , this duo is a perfect for you, however on darker complexions colors might not show up.
