Himalaya Oil Clear Mud Face Pack Review Photos Price

Today’s review is about Himalaya Oil Clear Mud Face Pack. Clay based face packs are extremely crucial for skin care routines of acne-prone skin.Himalaya Oil-free Mud Face Pack Review Photos Price

Scrubbing and cleansing the skin with ubtans might cause redness or irritation when you have active pimple. Clay masks are way more gentle on the skin.

They help in drying out big bumpy pimples while providing deep pore cleansing. Mineral clay comes in different varieties. Each one has its own benefits.

Instead of using only one type of clay, a mixture of different clays is more effective in terms of skin cleansing. Himalaya Mud face Pack houses three potent mineral clays; multani mitti or fuller’s earth, Bentonite clay and Kaolin clay.

I was looking for a cheap dupe of Aztec Clay mask and I ended up buying this one. Here’s my experience on Himalaya Oil Clear Mud Face Pack.Himalaya Oil-free Mud Face Pack Review Photos Price

About Himalaya Oil Clear Mud Face Pack

Himalaya Herbals Oil Clear Mud Pack helps refreshes and revitalizes facial skin by absorbing excess oil and removing impurities. Enriched with walnut which acts as a natural exfoliator removing dead skin and blackheads.

Improves blood circulation, soothes the skin surface and leaves the skin looking supple and healthy.

Features:

1. Removes dirt

2. Exfoliates the skin without being harsh on the skin

3. Made with natural ingredients

Packaging: It comes in a white plastic tube with deep green flip cap. The packaging is quite simple. It’s easy to use and easy to carry in your travel skin care bag.

Most Himalaya products come in similar packaging; the same colour tube and the same cap. The packaging mentions all ingredients including both actives and inactives. Himalaya Oil-free Mud Face Pack Review Photos Price

Colour & Consistency: The pack is yellowish brown in colour. It’s the same colour of multani mitti though the brand uses some permitted colour to tint it. The consistency is thick.

Its watery components tend to separate over time. You need to give it a good shake and then the pack becomes ready to use. This mud based pack has more or less smooth texture but you will feel the presence of clay grains.

Fragrance: It has a very light herbal fragrance. It is not a floral or fruity fragrance, it has an earthy smell. The fragrance does not stay after the pack is removed. This mild fragrance does not irritate my senses.

Quantity & Price: This clay mask is priced at Rs.135 for 100gm. It has a 50gm pack which sells for Rs.75. This is one of the most economic face packs available in the market. The quality is quite superior for the price you have to pay.

My Overall Thoughts

Himalaya Oil Clear Mud Face Pack is a standard mud based face pack with a few added skin nourishers like glycerine, vetiver ad walnut. Majority of mud face packs in India contains only multani mitti but this one has three types of clay and clay minerals. The formula is quite strong.

It deep cleanses the skin and makes the pimples shrink to certain extent. It also provides temporary poreless effect on my skin. As the pack dries, you can actually see oil spots on the face where you have bigger facial pores.

Being a pure clay pack, it might dry out your skin. My skin is not at all sensitive.

Still, the potent formula causes burning sensation in my t-zone if I am applying it alone. To tame down the formula, I often mix a few drops of honey, some rose water or just plain aloe vera gel. This way, the pack becomes a nourishing and irritation subsides completely.

This pack has helped a lot in clearing out my skin so I am going to continue with this until Himalaya stops making this amazing pack for oily to combination skin.

Rating: 4/5

Hey, this is such a detailed review of the Himalaya mud pack. I really liked how you have captured the tiny details of this mud pack.

I would like to mention that even i experience T-zone irritation (though very mild) with the application of this face pack and the preservatives like EDTA and other parabens are to be blamed for this shortfall. But otherwise the face pack is a genius when it comes to detoxifying your skin.
