Himalaya Cocoa Butter Intensive Body Lotion review (1)

Body lotions are something which is an imperative thing or your skincare stash. I am a severely dry skinned girl and I need lotions and moisturizers all round the year which can heal my moisturization woes. And a body lotions is a must have for me. For summers, I prefer a light body lotion which spreads easily on body and does not feel heavy on my skin.

Packaging: Himalaya Cocoa Butter Intensive Body Lotion comes in a medium sized bottle which is all white in body. But cap is green in colour. It has product details and claims mentioned on the bottle. Overall the bottle gives a very refreshing look. The opening is a screw cap sort of. There is a large sized hole in the middle. You need to press the bottle a bit so that the crème comes out. But the major issue with the bottle is that after continuous usage the opening becomes messy and untidy. You can see the same in the images too.

Texture: The texture of the cocoa butter lotion is medium. It is a cream based texture which is easily bendable and spreadable on skin. So, perfect for a summer or light winters.

Himalaya Cocoa Butter Intensive Body Lotion is pearl white in colour. The first day when you blend it, you might feel some heaviness on skin. But don’t worry it will settle down very soon. Within few minutes it is back to your normal skin. But if you apply it just after your shower on your wet skin then it instantly absorbs without making your skin feel heavy. Actually that is the correct way of applying a body lotion.

Now, coming to the moistursing part. Yes, it moisturizes your body a complete day. I apply it in morning and for a complete day I didn’t feel my skin stretching or anything else. Also, I washed my hands a number of times but still it did not turn dry. And as I said I have a severely dry skin so thumbs up for this crème’s moisturization properties.

The lotion does not have any bothersome smell. It just smells of cocoa which is very pleasant for me. After some time the smell disappears from your skin too. So, no worries there. Since you require a very little product every day. So, a single tube will last you long enough.

Overall Thoughts

I give thumbs up to Himalaya Cocoa Butter Intensive Body Lotion. It’s pretty economic and lasts also long. As per the moistursing part it can easily fit into your daily body lotion.
