All of us love a good deal be it on clothes or food. Food tops my list all the time and I love trying out new places all the time. This time while The Great Indian Restaurant Festival is going on I decided to try out a nice lunch buffet at Latest Recipe , Le Meridien Gurgaon. I love buffets since they give a wide variety of cuisines/dishes to try out and if your partner and your choice in cuisine doesn’t match , then for both of you a buffet would be a win-win situation.

I went through a number of restaurants and zeroed on Latest Recipe, restaurant at Le Meridian Gurgaon. The multi-cuisine buffet boasts of around 150 dishes including live stations & Italian, Asian, Arabic, Thai, Indian and Western cuisines, also the Dessert buffet that triumphs with delectable sweet treats for all palettes including the cold stone ice-cream station.
Le Meridian is known for it classic but contemporary approach. The restaurant Latest Recipe has beautifully done decor , I love places that are brightly lit by natural light. The set up is neat & spacious, with counters for various cuisines. The spread was quite lavish I must add, with Japanese, India, Italian dishes to name a few.
I started with some pizza and pasta from the live counters, tried various sushis and then moved on to the north indian food, so typical of me. But nothing satiates my hunger than a spoonful of creamy dal makhani with crisp naan.
The staff was quite helpful and we enjoyed our time together. The buffets are a good place to sit, relax, gossip and just forget about everything else. I am not much of a loud-music-disco person so for me lunch at a nice cosy restaurant is the best date idea.
The food was delicious like always. I thoroughly enjoyed the dessert spread without which no meal is complete.
What else could have I asked for ? Above all the flat 50% discount by Dineout GIRF was icing on the cake ! Now download the Dineout app and enjoy food at 50% off at top 1000+ restaurants before The Great Indian Restaurant Festival ends.
