Global Beauty Secrets Turkish Watermelon & Argan Oil Day Cream Review

I love trying out new brands and products all the time. This time I came across Global Beauty Secrets which is a herbal brand with products inspired by rituals from japan, mexico, turkey, greek & india. I have been using Global Beauty Secrets Turkish Watermelon & Argan Oil Day Cream for a little over 2 months now and will share my thoughts with you all today – 

Watermelon is used by Turkish women to revitalise the facial skin. It makes for an excellent moisturiser. Global Beauty Secrets Turkish Watermelon and Argan Oil Day Cream is a smooth, lightweight day cream with natural sun protection and provides intense hydration to the skin. It has Watermelon extracts that are full of vitamin C, amino acids and lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that nourishes the skin. Liquorice extracts brighten the skin while Argan oil, a light emollient, makes the skin smoother.

My skin is dry but congestion prone so anything too heavy breaks me out. So I look for a formula that is light weight and can add adequate moisture to my skin without leaving any greasy sticky residue behind. Global Beauty Secrets Turkish Watermelon & Argan Oil Day Cream is just like that, light weight and  moisturising.

It smells like watermelon , very faintly. The cream comes in a 100ml jar which is quite unconventional, because mostly you will find 30ml or 50 ml jars when it comes ti creams/moisturisers. The jar will last for good 3-4 months even if use twice, because you don’t need more than pea size amount.

I like how the Turkish Watermelon & Argan Oil Day Cream works well under makeup as well. Anything too heavy or emollient makes me sweat and makes the makes slide off. This one absorbs quite quickly and doesn’t make my face oily. The formula is rich in antioxidants.

I find the formula quite moisturising and suitable for warmer months. During colder season I might need an additional hydrating serum or a facial oil with it. Overall I quite like the cream and would recommend it to all skin types.
