Givenchy Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner #2 Brown Legend

Last month I got a chance to meet Givenchy National Trainer & Makeup Artist Ajoy Sengupta, who gave me a quick Makeover using Givenchy products. I really liked the quality and subtlety of the products specially the Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner. I am going to review one of the shades from the same range today.

Shade – Givenchy Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner #2 Brown Legend is a warm brown shade, which shows up beautifully on my slightly pigmented eyelids. The challenge with most of the brown liners is that they hardly show up on me, because of dark eyelids. If you are bored of stark black eyeliners try brown or cobalt blue, they look gorgeous and are perfect for everyday, specially if you are a working woman.

Texture & Formula – Formula of Givenchy Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner #2 Brown Legend is quote liquid-y (if that’s even a word), which makes it easier to apply and the brush tip gives a nice and precise application. You can get as close to your lash line as possible and draw either a sleek line or a dramatic wing liner. The brush is not too long and hence the application stays under control. The formula dries quickly and sets in place. Texture is smooth and you can get even application in one stroke. Color stays intact throughout the day, without smudging or fading however its not waterproof.

Pigmentation – Brown legend is quite pigmented, one swipe is all you need ! It shows up nicely even if one has dark lids, I have worn it without any eyeshadow and its showing up pretty nicely !

Staying Power – Givenchy Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner stays on me for good 7+ hours and after then it fades from the outer corners of the eyes a bit.
