Garnier Fructis Long And Strong Fortifying Conditioner Review

My hair is super dry and brittle. And also I have extremely thin fine hair. It’s more like a baby hair. But of course this post is not about my hair woes. So, let’s proceed to the main discussion. I read somewhere that if you use things from same ranges then you will have maximum chances of it working. Anyways, I am blessed with dry brittle ends and so always need to pamper my hair with the conditioner. So, I bought Garnier Fructis Long And Strong Fortifying Conditioner with the similar shampoo range.

Let’s see if it worked on my hair or not.

Packaging:  The conditioner comes in green bottle. The bottle is medium sized which makes it easier to carry. The bottle is not semi-transparent as the shampoo of same range. So, you can’t figure out how much conditioner is left inside.

Texture: The texture of the conditioner is quite thick. The conditioner is pearl white in colour. When you rub the conditioner with a bit of water, the conditioner become light in consistency and can be easily spread on hair.

Firstly let’s start with the application part. Wash away the shampoo. Now, squeeze out the conditioner out of the tube. Lather the conditioner with water. Apply the conditioner on hair ends. Leave the conditioner for 5-7 minutes on your hair ends. Rinse away the conditioner after 7 minutes. Wash away thoroughly. You will get tangle free moisturised healthy hair.

Garnier Fructis Long And Strong Fortifying Conditioner when applied on hair gives you soft, manageable hair. But sadly the conditioner doesn’t work on extremely dry hair. Even after applying the conditioner you will get smooth soft hair but of course you will have few tangles on your hair.

Also, the bad part is that the results of this conditioner are extremely short lived. You will end up with the same tangled unmanageable hair on the same day. Also, the conditioner doesn’t moisturize extremely dry hair. It only works on oily and moderately dry hair.

But coming to the other claims of this conditioner it definitely reduces breakage. The conditioner has the goodness of nutritive oils which makes the hair soft and manageable. This makes the hair strands quite strong. Also, since the conditioner is thick in texture it will last you long. So, pretty economic that way.

Overall Thoughts

Of course not. Garnier Fructis Long And Strong Fortifying Conditioner doesn’t functions properly. It works only on oily or moderately dry hair. That too the results are extremely short lived. So, it is not your perfect conditioner. I feel it’s not worth a try.
