Brow Pomade is one product that always intrigued me. We in India don’t have access to Anastasia Brow Pomade and if it is available online, the price isn’t justified. I cam across Freedom Pro Brow Pomade on Flipkart and bought it in shade Ash Brown. I am a brow products junkie and love to collect brow grooming products. I have also tried the Freedom Duo Brow Powder which is really good for everyday use.
Freedom Pro Brow Pomade Ash Brown (Rs )
Freedom Pro Brow Pomade comes in a round glass pot with black screw lip. It has Freedom Professional written on it.
Shade – Brow Pomade is available in over 8 shades and I found Ash Brown quite perfect for my complexion. Warm toned brown doesn’t suit my complexion/ brow hair. Ash brown is a dark cool toned brown which works quite well. I don’t put black because it tends to make them a bit too made up.
Texture & Formula – I thought the formula will be a bit hard and waxy but it is quite creamy. I use an angled brush to apply the product. This product isn’t meant for everyday use or you have to use it very sparingly. However it is perfect for those occasions when you are going to get photographed and don’t want the flash washing out your eyebrows, something which happens with me if I don’t fill in my brows.
Creamy formula is easy to apply & blend. I use a spooli-brush to distribute the product. Once set it gives a matte finish.
Pigmentation – Very Very Pigmented. Initially I did mistakes and over applied it, like we scoop out gel eyeliners. Touching the product with the brush will pick up enough color/ product. Over done eyebrows aren’t my thing even when I love to fill them in all the time. Also make sure to brush the hair in place after you fill them in.
Staying Power – Once set Freedom Pro Brow Pomade stays in place the entire day. It doesn’t come off with sweat and needs a makeup remover to take it off completely.
Overall Thoughts
If you love dramatic or bold eyebrows then Freedom Pro Brow Pomade would be a perfect product. A really good product for the price you pay, along with a great pigmentation & staying Power. Also there are number of shades available to choose from. Only thing is that you have to be really careful as little goes a long way with this.
