Four Fountains De-Stress Spa Revisited

I had a wonderful time at a relative’s house on 15th August, flying kites, chit-chatting and of course running behind my daughter. By the end of the day I started experiencing stiffness in my lower back and shoulders. Fortunately next day I had a booking for a spa session at Four Fountains De-Stress Spa, my favorite Spa In DelhiI have been to Four Fountains De-Stress Spa before and did a detailed review of the spa ambience and services rendered. This time I asked the executive to suggest me a therapy that can relieve me from back and shoulder pain. 

I went for Swedish massage with wintergreen oil. In this variant of the Swedish Massage, Wintergreen oil is used instead of Sesame oil. Wintergreen is known for its pain-relieving properties and helps reduce muscular aches. Its a 60 minute session that costs Rs 2199. 

I really liked the aroma of wintergreen oil, it smelled like peppermint, but not that intense. That aroma definitely calmed my senses. The therapist was very humble and soft spoken, she offered me disposable undies. She started with wiping my feet with wet cloth and covering rest of my body with a disposable sheet.

Massage started with lukewarm oil, dripped on my back. I had told her about my lower back and shoulder pain so she concentrated mostly on those areas. She kept on asking on regular intervals if the pressure was right.

She slowly moved on to legs and hands. I really enjoyed the neck & shoulder massage in the end. I might have fallen asleep and snored during the session. It was that relaxing.

Once the massage was done she offered me a clean towel and asked me to take bath. My whole body was so relaxed and I was super sleepy. Lastly green tea was offered and I was asked to fill a feedback form.

Overall, My experience this time at Four Fountains De-Stress Spa was no less amazing than what it was a year ago. My hectic schedule doesn’t allow me to visit spa often, but I am sure this year onwards I would make it regular. If you are looking for pampering session, do visit Four Fountains De-Stress Spa.
