I am back again with one more product from my favourite brand. And no, Forest Essentials do not sponsor me, though I feel they should for the number of products I buy from them. Like I mentioned in my previous reviews the combination of Forest Essentials Soundarya Serum and the Sanjeevani Elixir has transformed my skin and given it deep rooted glow and made it healthier. I have combination skin. I have dry areas around my nose and mouth which tend to become prominent if I don’t take care of my skin or in extreme dry weathers. Though, I was quite happy with my Holy Grail products from Forest Essentials. I picked up Forest Essentials Tejasvi Night Emulsion to give my skin something extra after I saw many people raving about it.

Packaging – Forest Essentials Tejasvi Night Emulsion Comes in a typical Jar packaging with a Golden cap and plastic stopper inside. Beautiful and attractive packaging.

I usually love the Forest Essential packaging, but for this particular product it gets a bit messy. I either use a spatula or spoon to take out the product.

Texture & Fragrance – The Forest Essentials Tejasvi Emulsion is dark Maroon in colour and smells strongly like ghee. Its texture is also similar to solidified ghee. You just need a very tiny amount for your entire face. Once you start applying and massaging into your face, It melts.

It becomes like liquid ghee and spreads easily all over the face. As you massage it, it gets completely absorbed into the skin. It does not feel sticky at all. The strong smell of ghee may be a putting of factor for some, not me though.

My Experience

I use the Forest Essentials Tejasvi Night Emulsion once a week in summer and twice a week in winters and the dry months. After cleansing my face in the night I take a tiny amount and massage it all over my face. I take extra care to massage it around my nose, eyes and my mouth area.

I continue massaging between 5 to 10 mins. By this time it gets completely absorbed into my skin. In the summers I remove the excess if there is any with damp towel and in winters I leave it as it is.

The next day morning I wash my face either with Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Tejasvi  or with Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Facial Scrub alternatively. Once I pat my skin dry it feels so soft and plump and hydrated from within.

I see a glow on my face which remains throughout the week. With the first use itself it removed the tan on my face. With continuous usage it has brightened my skin, lightened my pigmentation and marks and has given my skin a healthy glow.

The dullness in the skin has completely vanished and massaging lightly with this around my eyes has done wonders for my eyes and also helped me sleep better. Dry skinned beauties would find this to be a blessing. People with blemishes and marks will also love this as it helps in reducing and lightening them.

I am not sure how it will fare on oily and acne prone skin as it is quite rich with oils. But, you can always get samples and try it out before buying.

Overall Thoughts

Forest Essentials Tejasvi Night Emulsion is a rich and nourishing boon for dry, dull, parched and tanned skin. A tiny amount goes a long way. Even with the first usage you can see the difference in the texture of your skin. The next day morning skin looks so supple and healthy. With continuous usage it plums up your skin, brings back the elasticity of the skin and gives it a healthy glow. I love the way how it sinks into my skin and how my skin drinks it up. Highly recommended.
