The Product

I had always wanted to try out Forest Essentials hair cleanser & conditioner so during one of my visits to the store, decided to pick sample size bottles. Their sample sizes are great if you want to test a product before buying full size. The 50 ml Hair cleanser lasted me 4-5 washes. Forest Essentials Mashobra Honey & Vanilla Hair Cleanser is very gentle and if you have put oil on hair, you might need a lot of cleanser to get rid of that oil. Hair conditioner is too mild.

I have dry wavy hair and Mashobra Honey & Vanilla variant is meant to treat dry hair. I had mixed experience with the 50 ml bottle so decided to buy 200ml bottle to try the product couple of more days before reviewing. Its not a cheap product so my expectations were high ! This is how much is left in my 200 ml bottle.

My Experience

I was hoping that after using the combo for a month I would be able to see some improvement in my hair texture, since they have become lot more frizzier than before. I generally oil them before wash so I have to wash them thrice with the cleanser to get rid of any traces of oil. So that 200ml bottle gets empty in 2-3 weeks maximum. Conditioner was of no use since it neither softened my hair nor made them any manageable. I was observing some hair fall due to weather changes and it has stopped completely.

After every use my hair look frizzy and unmanageable. I have to use Loreal Serum to tame them. After using Forest Essentials Mashobra Honey & Vanilla Hair Cleanser & Conditioner for over a month I can’t really see difference in my hair texture, they are still dry and frizzy. However I love the scent it leaves that stays for 2-3 days and also the fact that it has natural ingredients.

The product might have worked on hair fall too but I am not sure since this is something that always happens with me when weather changes. I am still on a look out for a product that can control the frizziness of my hair without damaging them any further (with chemicals , paraben, SLS).
