Festive Makeup Look Ft Makeup Forever Products

I met Ajoy Sengupta (National Makeup Artist & Trainer – Givenchy & Makeup Forever) again, this time for Makeup Forever. Since festive season is already knocking on our doors, we decided to create a smokey, festive eye makeup paired with subtle neutral pink lips. I really enjoyed the makeover and learned a lot of tricks from Ajoy. Makeup Forever makeup products are available at Sephora Outlets.

Makeup Forever currently offers 6 different primer shades, that are meant for different issues e.g. yellow primer brightens up the complexions, green cancels out the redness, pink works on the dark areas and clear/ white one is universal & fit for all. Ajoy mixed yellow & pink together for me.

Here is my bare face selfie, I took it specially to see how much difference the famous Makeup Forever HD foundation makes. I was so much excited about that product and would be getting it real soon. I was matched to shade no 153 which has prominent yellow tones, that lifted up the whole look by adding brightness.

Foundation has a light texture & provides medium to full coverage. I really liked how it was a perfect match and didn’t look like makeup on my skin. finish is quite natural. A layer of foundation was applied to my face, after that Ajoy did some color correcting around my mouth & under eye area by mixing orange corrector with a drop of foundation and applying it on the areas.

Then he used Full cover concealer in shade 10 on the under eye area to add extra coverage and brighten it up. Its a full coverage concealer and one small drop was more than enough ! Makeup Forever HD powder was dusted lightly on the T-Zone to set makeup in place.

For eyes Ajoy started off with priming the eyelids with Eye Prime, then he applied Black shimmer crayon kohl 6k , using it as a base. Kohl was applied closely to lash line and was later smudged with the help of a brush. The he applied dark brown eyeshadow (No 166) on the outer 3/4 of the eyes and blended it on the lower lash line as well. He placed coral eyeshadow (No 025) in the inner 1/4th of the eyelids. I never thought that coral can be used for smokey eyes and it looked really pretty. He finished off with applying gold crayon (No 7k) on waterline, and a coat of Aqua Smokey Lash Mascara on the lashes. 

I have uneven eye brows and since the eye makeup we were going for was quite bold, he decided to fill my eye brows with Makeup Forever Aqua Brow Gel (No 35) and dark brown eye shadow

To give some dimension to my face, he lightly dusted bronzer on the perimeters of my face and than peach blush (No 20) on my cheeks. For lips he lined my lips using Aqua lip liner No 14C and filled them with Rouge Artist Natural N9.

I hope you all like the look as much as I did, meeting Ajoy is always a pleasure. I am really impressed with the staying power of foundation and how primer instantly corrected the tone to a great extent.
