Faces Ultime Pro Second Skin Pressed Powder Review Price Photos

I have already talked about the new launched by Faces Cosmetics. In the last post I talked about Faces Ultime Pro Second Skin Pressed foundation which is a really good formula for everyday makeup. The range also has a pressed powder that compliments the foundation. Like the name suggests the formula of these products is skin like. I have been testing out Second skin pressed powder for over 3 weeks now and will share my thoughts today.

A powdery finish compact makeup, Faces Ultime Pro Second Skin Pressed Powder creates even-toned skin instantly, delivering natural finish to your skin. Packaging is a bit bulky but sturdy. The black matte round compact has two compartments, one contains the powder puff/ applicator and second contains the powder. The chrome like mirror is not exactly glass, which i find quite innovative. The powder puff isn’t much functional though.

Shades – Like all the base makeup products Faces Ultime Pro Second Skin Pressed Powder comes in 4 shades. I picked the darkest – Sand, which is a tad dark for me. So if you are NC 44 and above then this shade would be good for you. I use it over lighter foundations to make them adjust to my complexions. I like how it has yellow tone and doesn’t look ashy on me.

Texture & Formula – Now coming to the texture of this powder. It is very smooth , finely milled formula that doesn’t kick off / fly around when you swirl the brush in the pan. I find the formula very fine and good for setting makeup since it doesn’t add too much product on top of your foundation and prevents it from looking cake-y.

This powder is good for all skin types, though it wouldn’t keep the skin mattified for a long time.

Coverage – I will call it a sheer formula, it wouldn’t add any coverage so you would need additional concealer to blur out imperfections.

Overall Thoughts

I like Faces Ultime Pro Second Skin Pressed Powder for setting my foundation or BB cream. It doesn’t add too much product and prevents it from looking cake-y or powdery. The formula is fine and doesn’t make skin dry.
