Faces Ultime Pro Intense Gel Kajal Review Swatches Photos

A black kohl pencil is a must have for someone like me who is always running short of time while getting ready. A nice pencil or retractable liner/kohl comes handy when you are rushing and have no time for precise winged eyeliner. I have been using a loving Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Black for quite a long time now and thought of trying out a new one. Faces Cosmetics is one of my favourite makeup brands when it comes to quality at justified price. The brand has launched Ultime Pro Intense Gel Kajal and I got a chance to get my hand on it.

Faces Ultime Pro Intense Gel Kajal comes in wooden pencil form with a smudge tip at one end. Both the ends have transparent lids on. Wooden isn’t my preferred kind of packing but i guess when the formula is very soft this is the best way to keep it from breaking during application.

Super soft and easy gliding, FACES Ultime Pro Intense Gel Kajal is velvety soft just like a mousse. It’s waterproof, smudge- and transfer resistant because of its gel finish. This richly pigmented pencil glides on smoothly and delivers excellent color pay-off.

Shade – It comes in only one shade – black. And the black is quite intense. When I swatched in on my hand, it looked smooth almost matte, with no slip. I love such kajals , non-slippery matte texture ensures a longer staying power on waterline as well as lash line.

Texture & Formula – Like I have mentioned above the texture is smooth, gel like and it surely glides on smoothly with no effort at all. The formula is smooth but not extremely creamy or slippery , but yes that doesn’t make it hard to blend. It blends in one stroke.

I tried it on both water line as well as lash line. It works both ways amazingly. I always have hard time finding a kajal that can stay on my waterline, because of watery eyes. But Faces Ultime Pro Intense Gel Kajal stayed on for good 5+ hours ! which is commendable ! Also i smudged the lash line lightly to get a soft smoked out look and that eyeliner stayed on for 7+ hours with minimal fading. This is the staying power you expect from a smudge proof long wearing eyeliner .

Pigmentation – Very Pigmented ! The swatch in above picture is one stroke of Kajal .. Intense black !
