There are days when I don’t wear makeup but still do eyebrows because even lightly filling them changes the whole look. Specially when your eyebrows are uneven. Packaging – Faces Ultime Pro Eyebrow Pencil comes in a wooden pencil form with spooli on other end. I like how quick and functional it is. I used to love MAC Spiked brow pencil but absence of brush was a pain. Now I only buy eyebrow pencils that come with spooli attached to them. Now the downside is that wooden pencils need sharpening and that leads to product wastage.
Shade – Now Faces Ultime Pro Eyebrow Pencil comes only in one shade – Brown. The shade is taupe-brown which makes it quite suitable for medium-deeper complexions. It may not look natural if you have black hair, but since mine are sparse , it works perfectly. I would have loved to see a darker shade as well.
Texture & Formula – Very creamy ! I have a love hate relationship with creamy eye brown pencils. The creamy pencils are easier to draw with but at the same time easier to make mistakes. There is always a chance of over drawing them, however the formula in Faces Ultime Pro Eyebrow Pencil is very blendable, just few strokes of the brush and it blends with your nature hair. With is what I like the most,also because of the color, it doesn’t look too stark or noticeable.
Pigmentation – The pencil is quite well pigmented for an eyebrow pencils. I have already used it more than 20 times without sharpening it. But then it totally depends on how well defined you want the eyebrows to look. I keep the pretty natural.
Staying Power – The pencil stays on for good 6+ hours on me. I don’t see it fading much.
