I LOVE Aloe Vera Gel and use in number of ways. I was using Rustic Art Organic Aloe Vera Papaya Gel and started looking out for a new one after finish it. I buy either organic or pure (as pure as i could get), without looking at the price tag. Generally Aloe Vera gel are priced quite affordably. So while browsing through amazon one day, I saw The Face Shop Jeju Aloe 99% Fresh Soothing Gel. The tub looked huge and 99% Aloe Gel made me ecstatic. I picked it without thinking twice.
Something that puts me off is scent. I had bought Patanjali Aloe Vera gel and it had such a strong perfume like scent that made no sense. Its an ayurvedic and so called 100% natural brand, so how does the perfume-y scent made its presence ? Well i chucked it after using twice.
So coming back to The Face Shop Jeju Aloe 99% Fresh Soothing Gel. It comes in 300g plastic tub which is humungous and will last me ages (if used only on face). The tub has a lid inside which prevents the product from spilling. The gel itself is green in color and transparent.
I use Aloe Vera Gel in many ways , as a face mask, to dilute powder scrub/ mask, as a hair mask, post sun exposure gel and also as a post waxing/ threading gel. It has been working for me. I love applying a thick layer on my face and neck every alternate day and it not only calms down my skin but also evens out the texture & tone.
Girls with oily skin can also use The Face Shop Jeju Aloe as a moisturiser but for me it is too light. The gel is really good and works wonder for skin if used regularly. Aloe vera gel is good for blemished skin and dry frizzy hair. It also soothes irritated or inflamed skin.
During summers I keep the tub in refrigerator and use it cold. It feels so so good on skin. I leave it on till it dries completely and then wash it off with water. My skin feels refreshed, moisturised and even toned. This gel is free from paraben, mineral oils, animal oil & artificial colouring.
