What is it about cute packaging that makes us lose all rational reasoning?  I could bet you that these little pots of hand cream have earned the marketing team at Etude House some serious kudos.  A penguin shaped hand cream.  The first time I walked around the store I made a serious effort to keep a safe distance from them, knowing that once I picked one up, it was coming home with me.  The second walk around, I was not so successful and the cute looking penguin went straight into my shopping cart.

Packaging – Well, this is where it all begins! Sigh! Etude House Missing You Hand Cream comes in a small brown box with a penguin image on top.  When you open this it reveals a plastic pot in the shape of a penguin.  It is super cute and done very well.

The outer box has a little story on endangered species and rapid extinctions – keeping in line the packaging is made from 100% recycled paper.  I like a brand that wears its eco friendly heart on its sleeve.

The inner plastic penguin is reusable and I am sure to empty out another hand cream into it for use once this one is completely over.Etude House Missing You Hand Cream Review (1)

Formula and Texture – Etude House Missing You Hand Cream looked very and almost watery when I opened the pot.  To my surprise a small amount goes a really long way.  It is quite moisturizing and heavy on application.  I feel it forms a protective layer on your skin.  The fragrance is mild and barely there, like a baby powder.

I washed my hands a couple of times once I had used this and I could still feel that my hands very hydrated.  Clearly delivers on the promise of a good hand cream.

Overall Thoughts

Another one of those cases where I wish I had picked up a few more of these delightful pots of hand cream.  Well, Etude House Missing You Hand Cream is going to be on my wishlist each time I travel abroad.  I love the packaging, I love the cream, what more could you ask for.
