Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup ( Rs 2790 for 30ml) can be purchased from Estee Lauder Stores Or SephoraI have tried Estee Lauder foundation in the past and loved it. This is a newer version and I totally love it!!

‘Keeps skin looking fabulous, breathing comfortably through heat, humidity and activity without changing colour, fading or coming off on clothes. Natural matte finish and SPF10 sunscreen to protect skin. 

Shade- I got the shade 2w2 Rattan in Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation which is a good match for nc35-37 skin tone. It has yellow undertones slightly leaning towards orange but it looks fine on skin.Packaging- I simply love the classy packaging of this foundation having sturdy frosted glass body with a gold colour cap. However, it is prone to breakage and no pump is provided which does become inconvenient at times. The shade name is provided at the bottom of the bottle.

Texture & Formula- Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation has neither thick nor runny consistency. It is liquid but not very runny (a bit dense). It has some weird fragrance that I totally dislike but it disappears soon after application. The foundation provides satin-matte finish which is very comfortable. It is non-drying but it can accentuate dry flaky skin. It is waterproof and non-transferring to other objects which is makes it one of the best foundations in hot-humid weather. It stays intact and doesn’t smudge neither it melts. Despite being heavy in coverage, it feels light weight on skin and doesn’t clog pores. It didn’t break me out.Coverage/Pigmentation- The foundation provides full coverage in a single layer. It evens out my skin, hides blemishes, pigmentation, and acne and makes my face look brighter. Those having major skin issues can use a second layer. It doesn’t look cakey. I generally skin concealer when I use this foundation.

Staying Power- Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation provides a wear time of about 7-8 hours on me. I don’t use a setting powder over this as it sets quickly and provides matte finish. It stays fresh and doesn’t oxidise for about 7-8 hours. However, you need a good oil based makeup remover to remove every bit of this foundation. Overall Thoughts

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation is one of the best foundation I have tried in terms of texture, coverage,staying power. It photographs really well as it has low spf making it a great choice for brides as well. It is pricey but definitely worth owning.
