What it does:  Smooth on this oil-controlling foundation for sheer, smudge-resistant makeup that stays on through heat and humidity. An oil-free makeup, it delivers carefree coverage and keeps skin looking fresh and comfortable throughout the day.

SHADE: I got mine in , intensity 3.0 which is a warm/ yellow under toned foundation. In EL double wear light the shades with .0 are warm toned and shades with .5 are cool or pink under toned. Intensity 3 would be a good match for people with NC30 TO 35.

PACKAGING:  Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation scores big time in packaging, it comes in a cream coloured easy squeezy tube with a nozzle mouth and golden cap- making carrying around and dispensing both super easy for clumsy people like me. *round of applause for Estee lauder for giving this packing, which is so easy on the go, and yet doesn’t feel cheap.*

TEXTURE AND FORMULA : The texture is very very watery and light, almost like MAC Face and Body foundation and even in this heat I feel nothing is going on my face except water. It is very thin, spreads very easily. Ever since, the mac face and body reacted up on me, my life was lifeless, I tried almost 6 to 7 foundation to back it up, but nothing felt the same, and one day *enter double wear light, and my life was back to being happy*

COVERAGE: The coverage is just apt as a perfect everyday foundation and just covers medium spots and pigmentation but no full coverage which the regular double wear makeup does amazingly! I love the feel of this light one way more on my skin and .This light makeup however is amazingly transfer-resistant, and in 44 degrees in patna, this guy refused to budge or fade, or be troublesome in anyway.

STAYING POWER: A whooping 13hour, even though the brand claims a 24 hour wear, I have worn Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation  for 13 hours the longest, and I was good and smiling without any uneven fading, it gives a really nice matte/skin finish, and yet the high points of my face, like my cheek bones appear luminous  , even without any highlight.

Overall Thoughts

I know the price is a big whammy but we do spend an awful lot on many different foundations with different finishes often wasting our money due to shade mismatch or other reasons. It would be really much more sensible to invest in something we can really use up. Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation is a great product for people who wear makeup everyday, I wear makeup once in a blue moon, but when ever I do, I love it, a total pick me up. All I have to say *aimeras ton double wear light* it means love you double wear light in French <3
