Essence Cosmetics On The Catwalk! (04) Lipstick Review Swatches Photos

Essence Cosmetics On The Catwalk is a beautiful deep berry toned lipstick, my kind of color. It is subtle and can be worn as a stain. Such shades look good on medium-deeper complexions. This particular is also a nice everyday / work appropriate shade. The color is deeper than how it looks in the below picture.

longlasting love… you simply have to fall in love with the longlasting lipsticks by essence. the lipsticks provide your lips with intensive color for several hours without drying them out. you’re sure to find whatever you’re looking for – from bright pink to intensive red and chilled-out berry to subtle nude shades. the essence logo on the texture and the matt, black packaging with a ring of color to match the actual color of the lipstick are true eye-catchers! 

Texture & Formula – Although Essence calls them matte lipsticks, I find them rather creamy. Formula is buttery smooth and glides on the lips easily without tugging or pulling. It keeps my dry lips moisturized throughout the wear and doesn’t settle in fine lines. It provides a creamy finish.

Pigmentation – On The Catwalk is a medium coverage formula. One swipe delivers color but not enough to cover discoloration or pigmentation on lips. You can layer it up but then formula becomes slightly slippery. 

Staying Power – Contrary to the brand’s claims Essence Longlasting Lipstick In On The Catwalk doesn’t stay on for more than 3+ hours on me. I have to reapply it after meals or snacks.

I liked the formula & price of Essence Longlasting Lipsticks and would love to try out more shades. I haven’t seen any Essence Cosmetics display around me and can only buy it online.

Overall Thoughts

Essence Cosmetics On The Catwalk is a beautiful berry lipstick which would suit all skintones, especially medium-deep.  Formula is creamy and doesn’t make lips dry, however it doesn’t provide a matte finish. Staying power is average, but price is quite great !
