I’ll start with what I absolutely love this time, the box, yes the actual box.  I love the amazing effort put into the team when the pick the designs each month. My Envy Box March 2016 is stunning and intricate and is something I will keep on my dresser just because… I kept thinking there was a Holi theme to this box, but I was wrong, I guess the colourful promos got me thinking in that direction –

Here’s what I got

1. Bblunt Climate control Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream Full Size 150gm, Rs 450 – I was thrilled to see this in my box.  I am currently using this as a leave in conditioner and I like it a lot.  I was happy to see another one – so I don’t have to repurchase for a while.
2. Hedonista Fleur Frozen Ittar – Full Size 20gms Rs 1045 Well, this one is a kind of a repeat, the reason I say kind of, is because the same product was in one of the earlier boxes – only with a different fragrance.  The last one was Oud, and this one is Night blooming Jasmine.  I honestly think the price is waaay to high for the item, and will never actually buy this.  I gave the last one away even though I prefer this scent, I find it lasts for a really short time.  I put it on my wrist and I couldn’t smell it just after an hour.  I’m also far more partial to the normal alcohol based perfumes – I love the way they develop on your skin.
3. Bioderma SPF 50+ Full Size 30ml Rs 1485. I got a 5ml sample. This is a repeat product again – I have 2 more of these tubes from an earlier box.  There is actually no “exploring” left if we keep getting the same stuff.
4. Ava Body Moisturizer with SPF 30 Full Size 200ml Rs 650. I got a 50 ml sample. I think I now have enough moisturizer to last me till next year, every box has one sample of moisturizer.  Will probably use this in a while.
5. Loccitane Volumizing Shampoo (full size 300ml Rs 1460) and Volumizing Conditioner (full size 250ml Rs 1460). I got two 6 ml sachets each. While I normally hate sachet samples, I am a little less bothered by shampoo and conditioner samples since they are for a single time use. Here’s the problem though, I have already received a Loccitane shampoo in one of my earlier boxes and pretty much hated it.  I am not sure whether I will use these.  Anyway 6ml samples hardly matter.

My Envy Box March 2016 was more of a deja vu for me.  The brands were the same, the products were similar with some being almost exactly the same.  There is a certain fatigue built in this time and the only thing I actually like is the leae in conditioner, not because its a super find, but because I’m already using this on the advise of my stylist.

Overall Thoughts

The best thing about the box, was the box itself.  Very grateful for one of the 5 products, yawn yawn and yawn some more about the rest.  If you like the Frozen Ittar then this will definitely be very value for money, if not, then My Envy Box March 2016 is a strictly ok box.
