Shade- I have 3 shades;

1. Juicy Pink : A very subtle light baby pink shade.
2. Juicy Red: A raspberry red.
3. Juicy Peach: A very light pastel peach.

Packaging- Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balms have a small squeeze tube with slanted tip that dispenses out the product. It has a black cap. The packaging is sturdy but it does get messy at the mouth of the tube. The shade name is provided on a sticker located on the cap.Texture & Formula- Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balms have neither thick nor runny consistency. It is similar to average lip balms which applies easily and spreads well on lips. However, I do have to bring out uniformity in application on lips as the applicator messes the balm. It makes my lips soft and supple. The formula is hydrating and very moisturising which is due to the presence of olive oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E. It has a pleasant fragrance that I like. The best part is that these lip balm does give slightly plump and full appearance to lips. The balms have spf15 providing sun protection. They don’t settle in the lip lines and is great for those having dry/chapped lips.

Pigmentation- All the 3 shades are sheer in terms of pigmentation. Juicy Red provides a hint of red to lips. Juicy Pink provides a dash of pink shade however; juicy peach comes out as almost transparent on lips. They don’t cover pigmented lips.Staying Power- All the 3 shades stay for about 2 hours maximum on my lips. However, even after they wear off, my lips stay soft and supple.

Overall Thoughts

Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balms are one of the most decent balms available in the market at reasonable price. They are sheer but comfortable in wear and light weight. The formula I very hydrating and great for everyday wear. They provide an average wear time of about 2 hours. I like the fact that these have pleasant fragrance and are easy to apply. The packaging is cute and girly. Added advantage is spf15 and they give an illusion of fuller lips as they provide glossy finish to the lips.
