I have always heard really good reviews of ELF Studio Powder Blush and have seen many youtube gurus applying liquid/ cream foundation using it. I love my Sigma F 80 brush for powder or liquid foundation, but being a beauty blogger I really had to buy and give ELF one a try.
The Brush
ELF Studio line is considered better than the regular ELF brushes. Studio line brushes have black handles. ELF Studio Powder Brush is a flat top brush with a bit loosely bound bristles, and cannot be compared with Sigma F 80 since Sigma one is full of bristles , heavy and quite dense. Its more like a fluffy brush but not fluffy like a regular powder brush. Its dense enough to pick and spread cream/ liquid foundations easily and with no streaks. I have used it for powder application, and it works for that as well. However I use it more for cream foundation application.I have used and washed it couple of times. ELF Studio Powder Blush neither sheds nor bleeds and that’s a huge plus ! The brush itself is fairly light weight and doesn’t take forever to dry (after washing). One best thing is the bristles/ hair remain shiny no matter hoe many times I have wash them. Brush is really soft and doesn’t lose its shape after drying.
Talk about the negatives and I can’t really find any except the fact that ELF products aren’t available in India. These brushes can be purchased online only.
I have loved & reviewed ELF Kabuki brush from ELF Studio line and this one is equally good ! Highly recommended if you can get them. I didn’t expect them to be this good at such a cheap price !
