ELF Studio Blush Candid Coral ($ 3.5) available at nonpareil boutique or ebay
“The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow!”
Packaging – Black plastic case with rubber finish. I love the packaging, its sleek, classy and travel friendly since it has mirror inside lid.
Shade – Candid Coral is pale peach color with golden sheen. I was expecting it to be more coral than what it appears on me. It looks more golden than coral on me. In my opinion Candid Coral would show up better on fair complexions.
Texture & Formula – Texture is smooth despite of golden shimmers. Shimmers are super fine and gives a metallic sheen once applied. Formula is finely milled, and applies evenly. The formula feels a bit powdery but keeping the price in mind, I can overlook it.
Pigmentation – This is where the product falls flat. Its sheer. The color doesn’t show up on me at all. ELF Studio Blush Candid Coral works more like a golden highlighter. This shade would show up better on fair complexions, on medium to dark skin it would work more as a highlighter.
Staying Power – ELF Studio Blush Candid Coral stays on for good 4-5 hours with slight fading. It doesn’t turn patchy throughout the wear.
A decent budget product, ELF Studio Blush Candid Coral would show up better on fair complexions, on medium to deeper skin tones it would look more like a golden highlighter. Golden shimmer leave sheen and doesn’t look OTT. Formula applies and blends well, and stays on for good 4-5 hours. Its a good product but not a must have. Also availability is an issue, ELF products can only be purchased online.
