Colour & Consistency: Dot & Key Glow Revealing Vitamin C Serum Concentrate is a colourless fluid. The consistency is medium. It’s neither watery nor jelly like. It is slightly thicker than standard water-based serums. This Glow Revealing serum is not oily at all. It takes 10-15 seconds for my skin to absorb the product.
All skin type people will be able to use this serum. This serum is basically a concoction of various citrus fruit extracts, glycerin, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. I noticed the mention of Acerola, Bearberry, Kakadu plum, Peony root in the ingredients. Though this is a Vitamin C serum, the brand hasn’t mentioned the percentage of Vitamin C in the formula.
Fragrance: The Vitamin C serum has very light fragrance. The brand has only mentioned the key ingredients in the ingredients list. They haven’t said anything about the preservatives and fragrance producing chemicals.
The fragrance reminds me of the fragrance used in sheet masks. The smell foes not last long. It goes away within few seconds. Even if you don’t like how I smells, it won’t bother you for long.
Quantity & Price: The MRP written on the pack of Dot & Key Glow Revealing Vitamin C Serum Concentrate is Rs.1045 for 30ml. For a vitamin C serum that does not mention the full ingredients list and the percentage of Vitamin C in it, the price seems a little high.

My Overall Thoughts
So far, my experience with Dot & Key Glow Revealing Vitamin C Serum Concentrate has been quite nice. At the beginning it gave me a few pimples. As my skin started adjusting to this serum, the pimple problem stopped. It took 4-5 weeks to show noticeable results in my case. Vitamin C, as we all know, is a peeling ingredient.
It fights free radical damage caused by external factors such as exposure to sun. The peeling effect helped in blurring old pimple scars. This serum makes the healing process faster for active acne. When I have acne, generally it takes at least 5-6 days to heal properly. The dark spot left by it takes weeks to fade.
Sometimes the weeks stretch to month. Ever since I shifted to this Dot & Key Glow Revealing Vitamin C Serum Concentrate, the pimples take 3-4 days to heal completely. The marks fade fast as well. Apart from the missing ingredient list and lack of information about the percentage of vitamin C, Dot & Key Glow Revealing Vitamin C Serum Concentrate is a good serum for acne prone, dull skin with acne scars.
