DIY Face Tonic

It’s well known that green tea contains high proportion of antioxidants, therefore it is popular ingredient of many cosmetic products. Its ingredients restore skin cells and reduce formation of wrinkles. Make your own magic face tonic that you can use daily.
If you’re asking yourselves why do I think it’s great making cosmetics this way, here are my reasons:
– you control quality and species of ingredients you use, for example: did your dried lavender came out from your garden, rocky, or local store, it really depends on you
– homemade cosmetics does’nt contain preservatives, and shorter term really means freshness of the product you use for your body care
– savings. Gathering plants from nature or application of simple recipes (for example, how to make 1 liter of liquid soap from just one ordinary one) will help you your budget lasts longer
– and last, but definitely not the least: making homemade cosmetics you’d revive old and almost forgotten traditions of our grandmas and great-grandmas, which were looking for beauty in nature.
Ingredients:

– Distilled water
– Green tea (in filter or in a bulk)
– Lemon.
Measure about ¼ cup of distilled water. Clean water is very important ingredient of this recipe.
Warm up the water untill it boils, and add 2 bags of green tea (or 2 little spoons if in a bulk). Leave it like that for 3 minutes. If you’ve been using tea in a bulk, be sure to strain it.
Leave it to cool on a room temperature. After that, add 1- 2 drop of lemon juice.
Apply tonic on a face with clean hands, patch or cotton wool.
Save it in a bottle with good lid and use daily.
Did you like the reciepe?? How many of you use homemade facial tonics/ packs/ beauty recipes??
