Texture and Formula: The product is white in color and has a mildly grainy texture thanks to the micro granules in it. The smell is really pleasant – mild and fruity, and it has menthol in it, which you would feel the moment it comes to contact with your face. My Experience

When I first picked Dirty Works Pore-Fect Face Scrub, I was suffering from an open pores issue quite majorly. My skin is very weird – it tends to have really large, visible pores, and I was pretty uncomfortable because of it. When I started using it, right after the first application, I could see the difference. The granules are small, and I generally wash my face with lukewarm water before applying this all over my face, leave it for half a minute, before using my fingers to rub the micro granules in a circular motion, especially where my pore problem areas are. After about a minute of scrubbing, I use warm water to wash off.

The effect is very cooling, as the strong menthol acts up and my face looks really fresh afterwards and the pore sizes are considerably smaller. The best part is the fact that it does not dry out my face at all, like so many other face scrubs tend to do, and my skin feels really soft and clean. I have been using this ever since my Kiehl’s face wash got over, and I have to say, the effect on my pores is really visible. This is mild enough to be used twice a week, and over time, it has cleaned up my face and removed a few blemishes too while it tightened my pores. The quantity is also quite considerable for 599/- (125 ml.), and it is still more than half way full.

Overall thought

After using Dirty Works Pore-Fect Face Scrub for around two months, I think I have found a great product that really does what it says. I would definitely recommend this to people who have open pore issues – although not to those who have sensitive skin, because they might not be able to take the strong menthol. Availability is an issue, since I bought mine from Medplusbeauty, and this one goes out of stock pretty often.
