DIOR Vernis Mirage 338 Review Swatches Photos

I should have bought DIOR Vernis Mirage 338 last year as it was more or less close to the Pantone colour of the year “Radiant Orchid”; Anyhow, I picked this recently and totally enjoying it these days. I adore Dior Nail Polish and want to build my collection but mostly they are out of stock here in India.

Shade – DIOR Vernis Mirage is cool toned Vibrant but not in your eyes Fuchsia Purple shade , it does remind me of Fresh Orchids with little more life to it . I love to paint my nail with these and find that 2 coats are good enough to get the opaque coverage.

Texture – The texture as mentioned on the packaging is Gel shine and Long wear , to me it is more like a cream polish with gel effect , there is no shimmer or pearly sheen in this shade which am so fond of but this didn’t disappoint me at all.

Staying power – The polish with no base and top coat stayed good for 3 – 4 days with mild chipping, if I use a good top coat it will extend the wear time, in pictures here there is no top or bottom coat.

Packaging – DIOR Vernis Mirage comes in 10 ml bottle packed in Navy blue and silver outer carton, the bottle comes with silver cap which covers the top, they redesigned the brush last year and it has rounded top with flat tip which gives easy and non streaky application. I adore the brush shape and find it be so perfect for cream polishes like these.

Overall Thoughts

There are 3 – 4 DIOR Nail Polishes in my stash and I’m so addicted to them, they really give that luxury feeling and this shade gives me instant boost and I can’t stop admiring my fingers if I have this DIOR Vernis Mirage!
