Shade – Deborah Milano Extra Eye Pencil 03 is a Blackened Green shade. Those who want a change from Black eyeliner but only want subtle shades, 03 would be a great choice.
Texture & Formula – Deborah Milano Extra Eye Pencil 03 glides on smoothly however not as buttery smooth as Colorbar i-glide pencil. It doesn’t tugs and creates a smooth line in one go. I like to wear it on both upper and lower lash line and it looks beautiful. I can see fine green shimmers in the formula but that doesn’t make the texture of the eye pencil gritty. Even on waterline they don’t irritate eyes, though I avoid wearing glitter on waterline. The formula doesn’t smudge or disappears, it takes a bit to set so if you wan’t to create a soft smokey eye look, you can quickly smudge it after applying.
Pigmentation – The formula of Deborah Milano Extra Eye Pencil 03 is superbly pigmented. The above swatch is single swipe. I need to sweep it once only to get intense color.
Staying Power – It stays on for good 8+ hours with little fading after 5-6 hours. I haven’t observed it smudging. Also can be removed easily with regular makeup remover.
Overall Thoughts
Time and again Deborah Milano has surprised me with great quality and affordable prices. Those who have loved Colorbar i-glide pencils but don’t want to repurchase due to its price, can try this one. I loved the texture, formula, pigmentation & staying power. Deborah Milano Extra Eye Pencil 03 itself is beautiful. Only downside is that it comes in pencil form and sharpening it will result wastage of product. Deborah Milano products can be easily purchased online or through their stores.
