1.Don’t brush your hair too much. Brushing your hair stimulates the follicles which promotes growth, but brushing too much too often, will cause damage to your hair strands that results in frizz and split end
2.Let hair dry naturally. After you get out of the shower, wrap your hair in a cotton T-Shirt. Towls are made of fabric that is very rough and damaging to your hair, causing frizziness and split ends. Avoid brushing hair while wet, as it makes the hair brittle and weak. Only use a wide tooth comb to brush out tangles while hair is wet.
3.Try not to use a blow-drier. Healthy hair does not respond well to heat. Hair can sustain heat damage easily, especially from blow-driers. If you have to use a blow-drier, dry your hair using the lowest-temperature setting and limit usage to once a week.
If you shower before you sleep overnight, put your hair up in a bun and let it air-dry overnight. Your hair should be dry in the morning
4.Eat healthy and give your hair the right amount of vitamins. Since hair is made of proteins, make sure that you eat a balanced diet rich in lean protein, whole grains, fruits and vegetables.

1.Taking care of hair. Avoid rubbing hair dry and also avoid combing through wet hair.
2.Massage scalp region as frequently as you can. This stimulates flow of the blow of your head which in turn promotes the growth of hair and better health.
3.Don’t always opt for styles that require you to tie your hair up tight.
4.Do not wash hair with hot water for the very same reason, always use cold water or water at room temperature.
5.Work out. Yeah you read that right work out, Exercise increases the blood flow through the body and that helps in stimulation of the scalp.

My major hair concern is Hairfall….n to get rid of this problem i wash my hair with mild shampoo n i avoid brushing wet hair as this snaps off a lot of hair.
Take the white of one egg and mix in a teaspoon of olive oil. Beat to give a paste-like consistency and apply to the entire scalp and hair. Keep it on for about 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse with cool water and a mild shampoo. This makes it an excellent promoter of hair regrowth especially when combined with olive oil.

my problem is my hair has split ends, the haircut is the only way to get rid of split ends, regular trims are best protection against them. The longer i wait to trim, the greater chance is there to have of split ends worsening and traveling up the shaft. It may sound counter-intuitive, but this is why it’s actually best to get frequent trims if you’re trying to grow longer, healthier hair. it is recommend that we should get a cut or trim at least every six to eight weeks.

I dread dandruff but it keep coming and haunt me. But its been sometime that i have been doing smthg to get rid of these terrible white flakes and guess what the situation is improving. This something is : “Blend of Lemon juice and Coconut oil” –
Try and mix lemon juice and coconut oil in 1:3 ratio in a bowl and then massage hair / scalp with the same to get rid of dandruff. Use the tips of fingers to massage as it will also increase the blood circulation.
Oiling hairs like this twice a week followed by moisturizer based shampoo keeps hairs clean & moisturized (as dryness and dirt causes dandruff) and will help in degradation of dandruff.

P.S. Lemon juice is like a medicine to give you dandruff free life.

My major concern in my hair is Dandruff

A popular method for dandruff treatment with olive oil is the overnight mask. Simply apply 8 to 10 drops of olive oil to hands and then massage it directly onto scalp. It is not necessary to coat hair as well. After you have finished, slip on a shower cap and leave the olive oil in place overnight for a minimum of 8 hours. The next morning, shampoo and rinse your hair as usual .

    THANKS DABUR VATIKA.

    Ashwini Krishnamoorthy

My major hair concern is of course hair fall!!!
    – dry hair
    – unmanageable hair
    – frizzy hair
To overcome this I have tried an hot oil treatment with coconut oil+almond oil+sesame oil.
You may ask why sesame oil? Just because of its conditioning and cooling properties.
This controlled my dry, frizzy hair to some extent, but failed to control hair fall 🙁
My efforts are not only limited with the external applications, but also internally.
Stress may be one of the major cause for the hair fall, so I made it a habit of drinking green tea daily. I also include dates in my diet.
Till date I have not tried any olive oil to my hair.
When I saw this ad on TV, I went to purchase Dabur Vatika enriched hair oil, but it’s not available 🙁
If I won this giveaway I would try this.
Thanks for this giveaway mam 🙂

my major problem is dry scalp due to which I face hair fall problem too. I mix almond and coconut oil regularly. and occasionally add few pieces of camphor into the warm oil mixture and massage. Leave it for about 2 hours and then wash.

Camphor helps fight infections and irritations if any.

I follow this 2 times a week and the dryness is little controlled.

    Neha Chopra

Thank U for such a lovely contest, My Major Concern is I have lost the sheen in my hairs, it’s dull & dry now, with the change of shampoos & conditioners , I have made my hairs miserable & really need something which can add oxygen as a new life to my dirty hairs, at once i love opening them up , but now it looks like a jhaadu…..really worried & need a good hair therapist which I am sure Dabur Vatika Enriched Oilve Oil will give, At present I have tried various home made nuskhas starting from putting eggs on my hair, mehandi , curd for conditioning but u need time to do that all, I am sure with Dabur Vatika Enriched Oilve Oil I will save my Hairs Life with regular massaging & saving loads of time 🙂
