L.A Girl Pro Coverage HD Illuminating Liquid Foundation Review

If you are long time reader of my blog you would know that I always struggle with finding right foundation that matches my skin tone. Well i blame a bit of it on the misleading swatches online and major part to the brands that completely ignore deeper complexions and launch 5 shades out of which 4 are light. Thankfully there are still some brands that have launched more than 15 shades like L.A Girl Pro Coverage HD Illuminating Liquid Foundation. I have this foundation for more than 4 months now and I think its the right time to share my views on it.

The packaging is similar to Makeup Forever HD Foundation. A plastic see through bottle with black cap. It has a pump that dispenses adequate amount of product each time.

Shade – I have picked Soft Honey which is quite a good match for me. I was happy to see 18 shades and there are quite a lot of deeper shades. The color has yellow undertones and looks great on.

Texture & Formula – The formula is too runny or thick, it is easy to apply and blend. I like how my skin looks smooth after application. It isn’t drying or too moisturising, just the right finish. Also since the formula is HD it photographs really well giving a smooth even finish to the skin. I like it more than Makeup Forever HD Foundation because of the coverage. The coverage is medium to buildable.

The finish is L.A Girl Pro Coverage HD Illuminating Liquid Foundation semi matte. For me I have to use a good moisturiser + a hydrating primer so that the foundation doesn’t cling on to the dry patches. It blends easily and works as a great base for rest of the makeup. 

Coverage – L.A Girl Pro Coverage HD Illuminating Liquid Foundation offers medium to build able coverage and gives an even finish to the complexion.

Staying Power – I have worn it for good 7 hours without much fading. It did fade from the nose & area around mouth which is something that happens all the time.

This is one foundation I have been enjoying lately after struggling to find my match in most of the new launches.
