Coloupop is one brand I always wanted to try. Everyone on Youtube seems to be in love with their products. I recently got my hands on these lippie stix and have been testing out for almost a month now. I played safe while picking up the shades and didn’t pick any neutrals, because I don’t like washed out – dead kind of nude lipsticks. I have picked – Colourpop Bichette, LBB, Flawless, Creature Lippie Stix.
Packaging – Simple white retractable packaging, convenient to use. The bullet is quite slim and easy to use.
Shades – I have Flawless which is a deep violet, Bichette a deep red, Creature, a burgundy and LBB a plum wine shade. All the 4 shades are quite deep and perfect for medium – deeper complexions, in fact these shaded would compliment all skintones. Creature resembles MAC Media a bit.
Texture & Formula – Except for Flawless which is a satin finish, rest 3 – Bichette, LBB & Creature are matte finish. All the lippie stix are buttery smooth on the lips without being slippery. Satin & matte have almost similar finishes/ formula. Both are quite comfortable on the lips and don’t dry them out. None of the shades settle into lip lines or bleed outside lip lines. Even when the shade settles, the formula doesn’t feel drying on the lips. One can wear them without applying a lip balm. Colourpop Bichette & Flawless are my favorite shades though.
Pigmentation – Darker shades like Bichette, LBB & Creature are very pigmented. Even flawless is quite pigmented, and provides opaque finish in 2 strokes.
Staying Power – Colourpop Bichette, LBB, Flawless & Creature stay on for good 6+ hours, even after that the shade stays more like a stain on the lips.
