Today I will be reviewing the new range of liquid lipstick by Colorbar. One of my casual visit to a mall and I had to go check out the colorbar store for these new babies. I had heard quite a lot about Kiss Proof Lip Stain from one of my friend. The range has 10 shades from mauve to pinks to reds. Apart from that this happens to be a range of matte formula which I am very excited as you all know I love matte lipsticks. After a lot of contemplating I finally decided to buy the shade Colorbar Rustic Kiss Proof Lip Stain. This is a beautiful rust shade which looks beautiful on all skin tones.

Packaging : This range comes with colorbar’s signature silver box which has all the details about the product. The bottle is in silver colour with sides having vertical sections showing off the shade of the product. The shade number and name is mentioned on the bottom of the bottle. I really like the packaging as it is really stylish and compact. It is available online as well as in all colorbar stores.

Shade – The shade Rustic is a beautiful orange based rust shade with red undertones. The shade looks different on different tone of skins, which I really liked. It looks a pure shade of rust with orange base on my lips and it matches almost all outfits. I personally love wearing it with basics from my wardrobe.

Texture & Formula – The texture of the lipstick is pretty thick, although I would not say it is mousse textured. It is quite thick for the liquid lipstick and too thin to be called as creamy lipstick, it is just in between. I really love the formula; it goes on as a liquid and dries matte within 10-15 seconds of application. The formula is comfortable to wear and doesn’t bleed. The other plus point is the fragrance of this lipstick is very good, smells just like caramel.

Pigmentation – Colorbar Rustic Kiss Proof Lip Stain is very pigmented and colour is very opaque. It gives good coverage in a single swipe and also covers the pigmentation of lips. It does tend to get settled in the fine lines of the lips, so make sure you avoid using it when you have chapped lips.

Staying Power – This shade stays on your lips for a good 5-6 hours without any retouches. It does start to feel powdery towards the inner side of your lips and that’s the area where the lipstick starts to fade out and when you know it’s time to retouch.

Colorbar Rustic Kiss Proof Lip Stain is a beautiful everyday shade for all of us to own. The shade is unique and very attractive. I mean, come on, you don’t get a rust colour lip shade that easily in market. This is on the pricey side, but it’s worth every single penny. It looks really flattering on medium to dark skin toned beauties and looks very refreshing on girls with fair complexion.
