Colorbar Perfect Match Primer (Rs 750 for 30 ml) available at Healthkart
I have used primers from many brands ranging from L’oreal, Revlon, Bourjois and Clarins but this one is slightly different in terms of the shade and feel.
Shade – Unlike other primers that have a cream consistency, this has translucent gel like consistency which easily blends into the skin providing even look.
Packaging – The packaging is sleek having a white colored satin finish body and a silver cap.It has a nozzle for dispensing out the primer that helps in controlling the amount needed. It is travel friendly and sturdy.Texture & Formula – The texture is quite thick compared to other primers. It is not loaded with silicon as it doesn’t feel very slippery on skin.
The primer is smooth and blends easily into the skin.It reduces the appearance of pores to a great extent.I don’t have fine lines on face but when used on wrist, it does smoothen out the fine lines. Also,it helps in easy application of foundation and prolongs its wear time. I find it very comfortable for my combination/oily skin.
The L’oreal primer flakes a bit if over applied and gets way too slippery but this one never flakes. Also, it is great for very oily skin as it is oil-free and provides a matte look to face.
Staying Power – It effortlessly stays for 8- 10 hours on my face keeping the face fresh and oil free. Also, my base doesn’t budge or fade. However, the hold on pores lessens a bit after 6-7 hours.
I am very much impressed by Colorbar perfect match primer as the formula is great. It doesn’t feel loaded with silicon. I like the way it sinks into the skin giving a flawless look. This primer is great for all skin types. It is oil free and keeps shine at bay. The packaging is great, sturdy and travel friendly.
A small amount is needed of entire face and it works pretty well on fine lines and pores. The staying power is great.
The price is slightly steep but the overall quality delivered is great. Colorbar is coming up with some great product and I highly recommend this to everyone.
