When I saw Colorbar makeup brushes what attracted me the most were bright colored bristles with plain white handles. The entire look was fun with elegance. I wanted to try some brushes from this range so decided to pick eye makeup brushes first.

Ok So when I think of eye shadow blending brush I see a dome shaped long bristles with fluffiness. I was surprised to see that Colorbar Emphaseyes Eye Blending Brush was wide and flat, like an eyeshadow applicator brush. I find the shape of the brush irrelevant to the job its supposed to do , With a wider tip blending in the crease is difficult, but still its good for blending eyeshadows if there isn’t much finesse required, its tapered head does the job well. I also use this brush for eyeshadow application, concealer or powder application for the under eye area.

Bristles of this brush are soft and fluffy. They don’t feel scratchy. I have been using Colorbar Emphaseyes Eye Blending Brush for over 2 months now and even after washing them number of times it hasn’t shed or bled, neither it has lost its shape or softness. Its as good as new. Also brush is lightweight. So on quality and durability I will give it full marks.

In eye makeup you would need lots of brushes to makeup the entire experience and output neat. A small smudger brush is a must have if you love smokey eyes or those smudged kohl eye looks. Colorbar Smokin Eyes Smudger Brush is excellent for smudging out kohl or eyeshadow on lower or upper lashline. Its small and dense and does its job pretty well.

However I find it a bit too stiff and would have preferred a little fluffiness. But yes at this price and quality I can’t ask for more.

Overall thoughts

Colorbar eye makeup brushes – Eye Blending & Eye Smudger , do their job pretty well. Despite of few shortcomings they are excellent value for money. None of the brush feels scratchy or cheap. Even after washing numerous times none of them have shed or bled. I would recommend Colorbar Eye Makeup Brushes to all the eye makeup enthusiast who are looking at good quality brushes at affordable prices.
