Colorbar Kiss Proof Lipstick Review Swatches Photos – Be Ready, Plum Shot

Who doesn’t love a long staying lipstick that lasts through kisses? LOL . Colorbar has launched a new range of long wearing lipsticks and the range is called Kiss Proof Lipstick. I have two shades from this range that I have been testing out for more than a month now.

Colorbar Kiss Proof Lipstick comes in silver sleek metal cases with shade name & number on the bottom. It feels really sturdy.

Shade – I have two shades Be Ready which is a red and plum shot which is a plum shade. Both the colors compliment my complexion. There are around 12 shades are some of them are really pretty. I wanted to pick more but price stopped me from buying more.

Texture & Formula – One expects a dry matte texture from a long wearing lipstick. These lipsticks glide on smoothly and give a semi – glossy finish which was surprising when I tried it on since glossy formulas tend to fade away faster. However give it few minutes and it sets down completely and turns matte.

Formula is very comfortable for a long staying lipstick. Once set it doesn’t transfer much and stays put for a long time ! It also doesn’t settle in to lip lines and look good.

In the above picture I have Colorbar Kiss Proof Lipstick Plum shot on. The color is gorgeous and perfect for this time of the year. It would also look good on all skin tones specially medium-deeper complexions.

Pigmentation – Both the shades are very pigmented and cover darkness or discolouration on the lips easily.

Staying Power – Good 7+ hours on me with little fading after meal.

Overall Thoughts 

I really enjoy the texture, formula as well as finish of these lipsticks. Colorbar Kiss Proof Lipstick is a great option if you stay aways from drying liquid lipsticks. The biggest downside is price as well as quantity.
