Pout Paints isn’t a new product at Colorbar , I guess they have tweaked packaging and formula a bit.
Packaging – Colorbar Ange Rose Pout In a Pot Lip Color comes in a tub packaging with a mirrored finish inside the cap. It also has a mini lip brush inserted / hidden in the lid which is next to impossible to pull out ! I have used this products number of times and only once I managed to pull out that brush, I have used my fingers or separate lip brush otherwise.
Shade – Colorbar Ange Rose is a beautiful plum pink. It has some shimmers, but thats only visible in pan, I can’t really see any shimmer upon application. You can see the true color in the hand swatch picture.Texture & Formula – Can I say that I really loved the formula. Colorbar Ange Rose Pout In a Pot Lip Color has a nice creamy, non sticky consistency. It almost feels like a liquid lip color, light and smooth in application. Formula is non drying and doesn’t settle in fine lines, however lips feel a bit tight/dry once formula starts to wear off.
Staying Power – Colorbar Ange Rose Pout In a Pot Lip Color stays on for good 4 hours and survives meal. It tones down to a stain after sometime and that soft pink stain stays for another hour or so.
I have applied a light layer of Colorbar Ange Rose Pout In a Pot Lip Color in the picture below and that’s how I love to apply it. The color is more pink and bit deeper in person, almost like the above swatch.
