Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild (Rs 1550 for 200 ml)

A month ago I went to Clinique to attend a launch and while talking to the sales executive I shared how weird my skin is behaving these days. I have dry-combination skin which was feeling all dry and scaly, and due to its acne prone nature, I was afraid to use too mild cleanser on it. I always wash my face twice a day using a cleanser. He tested my skin and told me that its in pretty good shape, however if I am scared of pimples / acne then Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild would be a perfect cleanser as it is meant for dry combination skin.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap comes in a large pump bottle. It is available in 2 sizes, and I decided to go with the bigger one since the pricing made more sense and the packaging is more user friendly. The smaller one comes in a tube and this one comes in a large pump bottle. However I think it dispenses a lot of product , but you can control the amount it squirts each time by pressing the pump only half way.

I always start with splashing my face with cold water and then take appropriate amount of cleanser on the palms, rubbing them together to create foam. After that I apply it all over the face and under the jawline, where I get most of the breakouts. I really like how it is fragrance free and doesn’t sting in the eyes. It lathers up pretty well and face feels clean and fresh after each use. Also since the formula is very gentle it doesn’t rip off the moisture and my skin doesn’t feel stretchy or parched.

Also it does take off traces of makeup and dirt effectively. I always go over with a cotton round soaked in Bioderma Sensibio H2O which is last step in cleansing routine.

Overall Thoughts

If you have dry combination but really sensitive skin, I would highly recommend trying out Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild. Price might sound high, but this pump bottle will last me atleast 3 months even if used twice regularly. The formula is very gentle and cleans the skin without drying it out.
